    Location – Operation:  Mesi (42 kilometers from up-country Naxos)
     
    Description:  the lack of students at school in the village of Mesi on mountainous Naxos was the stimulus giving the residents the push for the emergence of local cultural tradition.  In this museum, various objects of mainly daily use are displayed, like tools, furniture, household goods, as well as musical instruments.
