Local Transport
There are many choices for your local transport in Naxos Island: public bus, taxi, car-motorbike-mountain bike rentals and small boats for beaches or other nearby islands.
Renting a car or a bike, is highly suggested if you want to explore the island’s attractions. If you decide to stay around your accommodation, you may also consider to rent a mountain bike.
Chora has two big public parking areas: the first one is at the end of the port and the second one at Grotta. On the evenings, cars are forbidden to circulate on the coast road, in front of the port.
Keep in mind that there are still the “traditional” transportation means in Naxos Island!
